Music Ministries

  • KS

    Chancel Choir

    The Chancel Choir is a group of members, friends, and Kansas State University scholarship students under the direction of Music Director, Dr. Reginald Pittman.

    Rehearsal is at 9:00 a.m. Sunday mornings.

  • Children's Choir

    Our Children’s Choir is a fun and joyful way for our young ones to learn how to use their voices to praise God through song. The Children’s Choir is led by Natalie Davidson.

    Rehearsal is held on Sunday’s at noon.

  • Handbell Choir

    Our Handbell Choir is an ensemble comprised of members, choir singers, and scholarship students offering special music and performances throughout the year. The ensemble is led by Dr. Reg Pittman.

    Rehearsal is at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Cornerstone Youth Group

The Cornerstone Youth Group is for 6th through 12th grade students and youth and is faithfully led by 3 adult leaders from within our congregation. Our youth ministries focus on relationship building, fellowship, and developing a Biblical model for our lives. We meet on Sunday evenings at the church, and offer various special events, trips, and missions throughout the year.

Adult Studies

We offer a variety of adult bible studies Sunday mornings, and throughout the week. Our studies focus on the biblical word, strengthening our relationship with God, and learning how to serve God and others.

Men’s Luncheon
Fisher Hall | 3rd Monday
The Men’s Luncheon Group is held on the 3rd Monday of the month at 12 p.m. in Fisher Hall, or Friendship Park weather permitting. This group enjoys fellowship and lunch together, followed by a time for group devotions and faith conversations.

Weekday Bible Study
Chapel | Thursday’s at 1:00 p.m. | Instructor: Stacey Montgomery

Beginning September 19th, we will gather on Thursdays from 1:00-2:30pm in the chapel for a Bible Study based on the popular TV series, “The Chosen”. Each week we will view an episode from Season One, followed by group discussion and an opportunity to dive deeper into the scripture passages portrayed in the episode. All are welcome!

Women’s Bible Study (evenings)
Fisher Library | Wednesday’s at 6:00 p.m. | Instructor: Missy Cox

The Wednesday night Women’s Bible Study meets weekly from 6:00-7:00pm in the library, beginning September 18th. This Fall they will be doing a Rob Fuquay study entitled, The God We Can Know: Exploring the “I AM” Savings of Jesus. This discussion-based group loves welcoming new people! Presbyterian Women’s Circle
Library | 3rd Thursday’s | Instructor: Emily Mark

This group meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 1:15pm, from August through May in the FPC Library. The PW Horizons Bible Study for 2024/2025 is “Let Justice Roll Down: God’s Call to Care for Neighbors and All Creation”, by Patricia K. Tull. The circle takes up several monthly offerings throughout the year including: Least Coin, PW Mission pledge, Birthday offering and Thank offering. To learn more about becoming a part of this group please contact Emily Mark (785-532-8472).

Third Thursday at FPC
Fisher Hall | 3rd Thursday at 9:30a.m. | Guest Speaker

Third Thursday at FPC (Fellowship, Pastry & Coffee) is a blended group of Presbyterian men and women who come together on the third Thursday of the months of January, February, April, September, October, and November to enjoy a presentation by a local speaker or professional, followed with a discussion with pastries and coffee.
